Haze is kind at heart. A bleeding heart in a sense. Giving off the air of a dumb bimbo, but is far from it. While she's mostly kind, she does have a bit of a temper at times- she doesn't like violence or fighting but will put her foot down when things are getting out of hand. She's extremely flirty and has very little in the way of personal space - but will back off with more skittish people. A charmer who has a well-trained ability to charm nearly anyone - useful for working with clients of all backgrounds and personalities. A competent liar and a girl of a million masks. Sometimes, she loses herself in those masks and loses track of her real self. At times she's been asked how such a girl could end up in Hell. Living in the 70s, it's no wonder that Haze (original name Dawn) was a big hippy back then. She was often on LSD and other drugs. She was involved in sexual gatherings and music festivals that would result in lots of sexual partners in her lifetime. Being a hippy and being all about love and peace, she actually took part in a lot of anti-war riots that were happening at the time. She would try to make friends with the cops and soldiers there at the riots, but often got tear gassed and pushed off.But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. Dawn was huge into a growing group led by a charismatic maniac. She was an integral part of this man's operations. He was a cult leader who relied on Dawn as his recruiter. He hid the true nature of the cult from her. Not mentioning the harmful nature of the group- nor was she aware of his crimes. He treated her well - like a pet. He offered all the drugs she could ever want, protection, and even an enviable role as his 'second in command' despite not letting her know about the more harsh side of the cult. Due to her loyalty, she unknowingly led dozens of others into the clutches of a cult leader with no mercy.Death: While she'd had no plans to join in on anything as soon as she realized what the cult actually was. Every move she made to escape was thwarted by the cult leader. This culminated in a mass suicide. Long story short; she drank the koolaid.Life in Hell: Haze works for Valentino at Porn Studios. Acting in adult films, working the streets and taking in clients, stripping and modeling. Whatever tends to come along. Earlier in her career, she starred in an adult film with a few other big names including Angel Dust. Now she's in a little bit of everything. As long as she pays Val her dues, he doesn't give her much grief. (Much being the key word here). She spends a lot of her time wandering and charming random demons out of their cash. She tends to come off to her boss as enthusiastic and excited about her job, but this is just an act. In reality she would much rather do something much lower key as this feels nearly as manipulative as what she did in life. But she wouldn't mind continuing modeling and stripping.⋆ Backstory ⋆
When Haze first arrived in Hell, she was lost and unsure of how to even survive. She had potential for many things, but upon her first ever extermination, she was just barely saved in time by Valentino, who recruited her to work at Porn Studios. This was when she signed her contract with the Overlord. She's an enthusiastic worker from the start and Valentino seemed to like that. She got into anything and everything she could to make her money, despite how much it was and how hard she had to work to get it all.When she was just a few films into her porn career, she was in an orgy video with Angel Dust himself. This was the highlight of her career as she looked up to the Spider quite a bit. It was also a turning point in her career as well. Her popularity was boosted tenfold and she suddenly had a taste of real fame. More money, better opportunities for her. Becoming one of the more requested female actresses at the Studio. Her fame rose and she was only a few ranks under Angel Dust in terms of popularity. And that was something she's become proud of.

Random Facts

  • Haze actually is partially blind in her left eye. She will at times wear a contact to correct it, but while in soft mode she actually wears an eyepatch

  • Haze has a soft spot for other arachnids. Scorpions get a lot of respect from her, and spiders are a special interest for her romantically/sexually

  • Her braid /is/ her stinger. She can and will use it to hurt people, but has yet to figure out how to use venom or if she even has any.

  • The red around her eyes are markings. It's not makeup - but she likes how it looks.

  • Some scorpions 'click' similar to crickets or cicadas. Haze does the same when she's struck with strong emotions (happiness, fear, nervousness)

  • She is a very defensive and protective person. If she likes you, she'll go to war to keep you safe. She's also extremely caring, even for people she hardly knows.

  • Accents can make her extremely weak. This is especially true with Angel Dust's accent. It just gets to her for some reason.

  • She's also extremely weak when others speak to her in another language.

  • Haze is definitely a Make Love not War hippie.

  • She protested war in life. And even now, she has a slight distaste for turf wars.

  • On the more NSFW spectrum, Haze does like it rough. Soft is fun too, since she likes sex in general. But she really likes roughness. It may come from her working as a pornstar/prostitute for as long as she has. She's gotten used to it.

  • She's also a biter.

  • She is immune to many venoms and poisons. Instead of hurting her, they can cause her to get a pretty trippy high. Which she enjoys and will sometimes seek out venomous demons for a hit.

  • Scorpions glow under UV/Blacklight. Haze does as well! Makes for a fun effect when out at dance clubs and parties.

  • Haze's favorite weapon is a pair of gold brass knuckles she has. But she's also rather proficient with a knife. Guns make her uncomfortable.

  • Her tail makes a good weapon, and can move relatively on it's own. It can be used with small objects as a nail gun or the stinger can sharpen to be used to harm others.

  • She adores the Egg Bois. She just doesn't have the heart to hurt something so... cute? And at times, she'll return hurt ones back to Pentious after turf wars cool down.

  • Her favorite thing from the living world is Stars. You can't really see any in Hell, so that is definitely something she misses.

  • Haze only remembers bits and pieces of her life. Not because she's been dead for a super long time. But because of all the drugs she did while alive. She spent a lot of time blackout drunk and/or high. So it's all just a colorful blur - she likes this and only has an issue when less than savory memories crop back up.

  • She smells like a mix of vanilla and spices like a sweet cinnamon and things like that. Probably from constantly burning vanilla candles in her room, not to mention it's the one perfume she wears.

  • While she has a proficiency for learning other languages, she will probably never commit to being fully fluent in a second language. She'll learn phrases and general words here and there.

  • Her favorite fabrics are silks. They don't have to be that high quality necessarily, just silky to the touch. It's a comforting feeling for her, which is why her sheets are silk.
